Hooded Towel

Hooded bath towels are great, but they are usually way too small and thin. There are a MILLION tutorials on the internet for making them. I morphed a few ideas together to make this:

I used a full bath towel and part of a hand towel (probably about half, but I messed up with a cut so I had to use more than necessary). To make the hood, I used a Pottery Barn Kids hoodie that Lily has as a template. It is basically a half oval for the back and then a "rim" to make the hood. I added ribbon to the rim of the hood and along the two edges of the towel--about 9 yards worth.
