I Ain't One To Gossip, But.....

It looked for about a second there that Charlie Sheen might actually be "winning". But then one of his Goddess moved out of the Sober Valley Lodge--which was subsequently put on the market--and just last week Goddess Two, who had become Goddess One since One could not complete her reign, also left the building.
And then came word that Sheen would be returning to television.
The former "Two and a Half Men" star, who was booted from the show after several drug and porn start fueled rampages and tirades,  has ALLEGEDLY signed a deal with Lionsgate Television to create a new show to air on a cable network; a couple of those cable guys are ALLEGEDLY bidding on the show.
A source--and by source I mean any one of the wacknuts still sponging off the soon-to-be-broke ex-TV star--says, "Charlie has inked a deal with Lionsgate Television to create and star in a new sitcom. Charlie's character will be very similar to the one he played on 'Two And a Half Men,' however the show will be a lot racier."
Oh, so he's stealing the idea? Winning?
Rumor has it that Lionsgate has agreed to produce ten episodes, with a look to option 90 more if ratings are high. This could be good for Charlie, y'all, and the drug and porn star escort business, both of which have taken quite the monetary hit since he's been out of work.
Sounds good except......now there are reports that it doesn't appear that a deal has been signed yet between Sheen and Lionsgate, and that TBS, one of the networks mentioned to be in talks to carry the program, have denied any involvement.
Sounds like more Sheen bullshiz.

They met, fell in love, had a baby, broke up, fought over custody, ended their battles for the sake of their child, and then......
The custody fight between Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey over daughter Nahla is ALLEGEDLY still going strong, since Berry made an appearance in family court this week and accused Aubrey of violating an April custody agreement.
Laura Wasser, Berry's attorney, submitted lengthy documentation focusing on Aubrey's parenting skills, which accuse the male model of neglecting his daughter during an overseas visit and putting her safety at risk. Now, Halle wants the judge to rule that Aubrey did violate the agreement and deny him custody of the girl.
The judge set a hearing for a later date.
You know, they've been having this battle for half-a-year now, and every time it hits the press they settle down and say they'll work together to parent their child. And then, as the dust settles, they're back in court with the same arguments.
Maybe little Nahla would be better off without such litigious parents.

JLo's ego has gotten bigger than her ass, ALLEGEDLY.
It seems that Miss Lopez, who thinks she's all that, and a bag of chips, on American idol, recently admitted to the BBC that she's "on the fence" about returning to the long-running talent show. And some, like me, are saying she's spewing this crap because she's holding out for a bigger paycheck, rather than being grateful that after years of god-awful movies and music, she actually had a hit song this year.
Thanks to Idol.
But the folks over at Idol aren't worried about JLo returning, or her demands for a paycheck as grand as her derriere. No, Idol is ALLEGEDLY already looking at possible replacements should JLo start being a  money-grubbing whore.
I giggle. Start being a money grubbing whore?
A source at Idol--and by source, I mean none other than Miss Ryan Seacrest--says, "Right now the star of 'American Idol' is Steven Tyler. Everyone thought after Simon announced he was leaving that [Lopez] would fill the void. How wrong were they? It's all about Steven, who's already signed on for season 11."
La Dopez, er, Lopez, might want to rethink asking for a pay raise from her current $12 million a year salary.
She has a big ass and she's acting like one, too.

Courtney Love, AKA Lindsay Lohan's older twin, has had a bit of a rough week....and perhaps year....and maybe lifetime.
Just a day after Courtney Love split from her British boyfriend, the A-Hole singer has found herself amidst a rather bizarre episode of grand theft auto involving photographer David LaChapelle and director Brett Ratner.
According to that bastion of integrity and professional journalism, the New York Post, Love was at the exclusive SoHo House in New York when she offered to pick up Ratner and take him to LaChapelle's exhibition at Lever House.
That, however, did not happen.
ALLEGEDLY Love took the car and did not return at all, which left LaChapelle quite worried about his ride. In fact, a source at the SoHo House--and by source I mean bellhop--says, "Courtney did take his car. David was flipping out and going crazy at the front desk that Courtney stole his car."
Hold up though. Now Brett But Ratner has come forward saying that Courtney and David are still BFFs, and that Love was supposed to drive him in LaChapelle's car but he was too tired to go, so she took the ride solo.
Uh huh.
I'm leaning toward Love pulling a Lohan-type car theft, and no one, not even LaChapelle, wants to admit he allowed Courtny Love...COURTNEY LOVE....drive his car.

As of this past Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan is a free woman. Again.
But for how long? I think we should start a pool on when Lohan
But I digress.
So, how did La Lohan celebrate her first taste of freedom after a month or so of house arrest. By going out! And, from the looks of her first night on the town, Lohan should think about staying home a little longer. Like a Norma-Desmond-long-time.
That photo, over there, was taken this week, just a few days shy of Lohan's 25th birthday.
Yes, folks, that's what twenty-five looks like these days, after stealing cars and jewels, and getting into fights, and falling down drunk, and being a prescription medicine and alcohol addict.
She should be the poster child: this is your face on drugs!
Lock up your cars and jewels, people, and put a latch on the medicine cabinet.
Lohan's back!

I Didn't Say It.......

Karl Rove, on Mama Grizzly Bore's presidential candidacy:
"I don't think she thinks the rules apply to her. She doesn't need to have the traditional trappings of a presidential campaign, no finance committee, she can raise the money, she doesn't need to go shake a lot of hands in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina. She gets to decide what the rules are that govern her campaign and go accordingly and politics is changing. Some people have done things that have been outside the norm of custom and have won."

She doesn't follow the rules because her self-involved, self-important- out-of-control narcissism, thinks rules apply to everyone but her.
That isn't event PTA presidential, much less United States presidential.
And once she realizes that she'll not be pulling in that exorbitant income from the mindless drones who buy her books and her agenda, she'll go back to being another ignorant loudmouth in a sea of ignorant loudmouths, like Karl Rove, on FOX News.

Wrestler and straight LGBT-ally, Hudson Taylor, on gender roles:
"My concept of gender identity is based around the assumption that gender is performative. As a wrestler and coach I grew up being taught that as a heterosexual athlete I had to act, dress, and live according to a very strict masculine gender script. It wasn't until my interest in the arts that I began to understand that gender didn't have to be so binary after all. It has been that realization that has allowed me to be truer to myself and remains a major reason why I try to challenge heterosexism and homophobia."

See, a penis doesn't make you a man, it makes you male. And male doesn't have to be macho and straight, it can be artistic and straight, macho and gay, artistic and gay.
It's nice that someone like Hudson, who understands gender, and it's fluidity, is able to speak up, to show all people, gay and straight, that gender isn't a sex organ.

Georgia State Representative Rashad Taylor, coming out as a gay man:
"Although this is not the time or the way that I wanted to come out, I feel actually very lucky, thanks to all the support that I've received from those people who are closest to me...As a black man, it can be a struggle to find acceptance within the community and at times with myself as well. But I'm proud of the man my mother has raised, and I make no apologies for who I am. There may be those who want to paint those in political terms. They'll say that this is a political liability to me. To me it's actually a gift form God.Through his grace and examples of thousands of members of the LGBT community who have come out often to great personal and professional risk, I have been blessed. It's your bravery and example that makes it possible for me to publicly and say to you, 'this is who I am and I have nothing to be ashamed of.'"

It seems that Taylor was forced into coming out because of an email that was circulating through the Georgia state house, written by his boyfriend's ex-boyfriend.
Yet, while he was forced out, he has openly embraced being an openly gay man. Now, he can be his true self, and in doing so, can be a better public servant.
Plus, there;s that whole Coming Out Toaster Oven, and copy of The Gay Agenda. It's nice to get gifts.

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, on marriage equality:
"In talking to state legislators who do not yet support marriage equality, I can sense that many of them are searching their souls for answers – and they are torn. Like all of us, they have friends and family and colleagues who are gay and lesbian. They know gay and lesbian couples who are deeply in love with each other – many of whom are loving and devoted parents, too. They know those couples yearn to be seen and treated as equal to all other couples. And they often hear from their own families – especially their children – that this is a civil rights issue. I hope they listen to their kids carefully and make them proud with their foresight and courage."

Nice sentiment. And it is true that the more gay men and women, and transgendered men and women, who come out, the less fear and ignorance and intolerance there will be.
But, is Bloomberg being honest? Is he doing all he can for marriage equality?
Read on........

Andy, Humm, Gay City News reporter, on Michael Bloomberg's speech:
"Bloomberg's speech today amounted to hollow words. He is the sole reason that Republicans are in the majority in the NYS Senate as he has propped them up literally with MILLIONS of dollars in just the last several years. And he has repeatedly said that he will NOT stop donating to Senators who oppose marriage equality--who also happen to be the ones who oppose GENDA, the AIDS bills we need, and virtually everything else of a progressive nature. Let Bloomberg put his money where his mouth is: Stop funding bigots. It is sickening to watch the gay establishment and average gay people fawn over him like some kind of hero when he is in fact the main reason we don't have marriage equality in New York."

Seems to me that there are two Michael Bloombergs.
One who wants marriage equality, and one who funds politicians against marriage equality.
Hopefully the Bloomberg who speaks in a pro-LGBT voice, will win out over the other one.
Senator Al Franken, on Minnesota's anti-gay marriage amendment:
“Every Minnesotan deserves dignity and equal treatment under the law, and our state’s same-sex couples should have the same right to marry as anyone else — period. This amendment would do nothing more than write discrimination into our state’s constitution and add to the barriers same-sex couples already face to the full recognition of their families. I’m hopeful that common sense and compassion will prevail and that this amendment will be defeated.”

Seriously.
Who ever thought that Stuart Smalley would become a US Senator? And then be able to speak so eloquently about this civil rights issue?
But he understands that LGBT are good enough, smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like us.
And we should have full equality in the united states.

Courtney Love, on Lady Gaga:
"She may be doing fine at the moment, but I'm worried about her future. She's very young, and she's very talented, but she doesn't seem to have any female friends. Or any straight guy friends for that matter. Instead, she surrounds herself with this coterie of gay stylists and advisors who've turned her into this weird, sexless Barbie doll... If she doesn't watch out she'll turn into a lonely drag queen."

You gotta love someone who surrounds herself with addicts and losers telling someone else how to live their life and run their career.
I wonder if Gaga had a lot of female friends and straight male friends if she'd be more like Madonna or more like Courtney?

I Ain't One To Gossip, But.....

Wow.
I mean, you know, if I saw a celebrity on the streets of Smallville, I'd whip out my trusty camera for a snapshot or two.
I mean, even if they were browsing through the antiques, or getting a soda at The Gate, I'd happily snap away.
But someone, and I ain't sayin' it was me, got a little too close to Jake Gyllenhaal when trying to photograph him.
Hell, they got a little too close to, um, Little Jake, too.
At the South by Southwest Film/Music festival this week, one fan got way too close for comfort to Jake Gyllenhaal. He actually took a picture of Jakey Gyllenhaal as he relieved himself, which made Jake all kinds of mad.
And scuffling mad, too.
When asked about the “rather heated scuffle in the theater bathroom last night" as a fan tried to take his picture, Jake laughed and said, “That’s true. I think it’s an appropriate space to keep privacy. I hope that people wouldn’t disagree with me on that.”
Jake’s rep says there was no scuffle, that Jake very politely asked me, er, the guy, to delete the picture from his camera, and I, um, he, did.
And, so while there is no photographic proof, yet, I will say this: "It's real, and it's spectacular."

Will male celebrities never learn?
Perhaps some of them, but not Ryan Phillippe, who will be ALLEGEDLY adding to his brood of two kids because his ex-girlfriend, whom he dated for all of a hot minute, is ALLEGEDLY got a bun in the oven.
According to PEOPLE--and they would know, wouldn't they--Phillippe's ex-girlfriend, actress Alexis Knapp, is pregnant and in her second trimester.
The couple dated on-and-off for a few months last year, and now there'll always be a reminder of the good times.
I usually get a souvenir to remind me of special times, not a baby.
But, that's just me.

Color me shocked.
I mean, I always thought you go on a TV show for six or eight weeks, date twenty or thirty people, have sex with five or so, then declare your love for two just as you propose to The One.
I mean, doesn't it work like that in real life?
It seems that mere moments after The Bachelor, Brad Womack, proposed to Emily Maynard on this weeks episode, millions of fans--hold up.....millions of fans? Really--were shocked to learn that the couple have already gone through a breakup.
Brad had declared that after being the Bachelor once and picking no one, that this time he was ready to settle down and date, marry, and impregnate a young woman on TV.
Now, it seems the dream has died.

Poor Babs.
One of her dreams was to star in a movie version, albeit another movie version, of Gypsy, that Broadway classic about show business and the quintessential stage mother.
That dream like the dream of Brad and Emily, has also died.
It seems that Gypsy playwright Arthur Laurents, along with co-creator Stephen Sondheim, have scrapped the entire project, leaving Babs heartbroken.
Laurents holds the rights to the 1959 Broadway musical and agreed that Barbra could play the role of Mama Rose, even telling the New York Post: "Barbra ... knows what she's doing. She has my approval." But now the 93-year-old Laurents has changed his mind after he spoke with the musical's lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
Sondheim ALLEGEDLY asked Laurents: "What is the point of" doing another movie. And now Laurents has said, "I don't want it now. I want it to stay alive. I think (Streisand) is disappointed. She wanted very much to do it. That would have been a good exit for her career. Tom Hooper wanted to direct it. I think he's wonderful."
All those wonderful people out of a job.
But Babs isn't said to be upset by the decision. She has ALLEGEDLY told friends that all she has to do is 'wait it out,' meaning that if Laurents were to die, she could buy the rights and do the film anyway.
Wow, waiting for someone to die just to get a job.
She should'a been Vice President.

There's a new show on NBC called The Voice, where they will take young unknowns, allow them to audition before four judges, then let them sing onstage in front of millions of people, who will vote for them, and make one of them the next American Ido....superstar.
Sounds like another show, eh?
Well, it isn't, so there!
This show has four judges, not three, and there called coaches, not judges. And The Voice producers say there show will be intent on building its contestants up, not “tearing them down” like some other competitions we know…"
Like, um, what?
The coaches for The Voice are Steven Tyler, er, I mean, Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine, Miss Jennifer Lopez, um, that would be Miss Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton; the host will be Ryan Seacrest-lite--if one could ever get lighter than Seacrest--Carson Daly.
See, it's nothing like American Idol.
In fact, it's so not AI that Christina Aguilera stopped mid-Cosmopolitan to say: “This isn’t about tearing people down. I want to bring these people up. The Voice really does stand for what it says. Instinctually, you can judge people based on the way they look. I love that fact we get to sit here with our backs turned away from these people and completely use just one sense to hear these voices. I’m not looking for vocal acrobatics, who has biggest range [of] high and low. I’m looking forward to getting moved.”
I'm looking forward to you getting help.

What won't people snort?
I mean, seriously. Coke, crack, comet, you name it. Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards even admitted to snorting his late father's ashes, and now it seems that burnt remains are becoming the nasal substance of choice.
Enter Courtney Love.
According to author Neil Strauss, author of 'Everybody Loves You When You're Dead: Journeys Into Fame And Madness', the Hole singer considered snorting the ashes of her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
Strauss said, "She walked to a dresser, pulled open a drawer, and removed a square-shaped tin," Strauss said. "She removed the lid, revealing a plastic bag full of white ashes" and said to him, "Too bad you don't do coke. Otherwise I'd suggest taking a metal straw to it."
Strauss declined, because, well, snorting the ashes of a cremated rock star is not something one does every day, unless you're Courtney Love.
Or maybe Keith Richards.

You know, just yesterday I printed a quote by Jodie Foster, where she gushes with love about alcoholic-misogynist-anti-Semite-homophobic-girlfriend-batterer Mel Gibson.
Odd, then, that Melvin was conspicuously absent from the South by Southwest Film Festival premiere of the film he made with Foster, The Beaver. Now, it's true, he was a little tied up in LA pleading No Contest to hitting his girlfriend while she held their child, but still......
And though Jodie was singing his praises on the red carpet, it is ALLEGED that it was her idea to keep Gibson away from the film festival showing of their movie.
A source--and by source, I mean any one of Jodie's traveling lesbian entourage--says, "Having him attend was just going to be too big of a risk. He could have gotten booed on the red carpet before the film even began. Everyone including Jodie decided it would be better if Mel didn't attend."
it would be better if Gibson went to prison.
